Handbook for Implementing Peace Education in Schools

After implementing a six months project for peace education inside a local high school in Skopje, Ekvalis issued a Handbook for Implementing Peace Education in Schools. The handbook is meant for teachers, but also youth workers to use it in their regular work with students and for topics of peace education to be introduced in the classrooms. This handbook consists of several parts such as: theoretical contextualization of peace education topics, non-formal methods of work, practical teaching curriculum plans with exercises for highlighting topics in interest of peace education and recommendations for future implementation of peace education. This handbook is created by the Association for Educational Development “Ekvalis” with support from the European Youth Foundation and the Council of Europe.
